Think about the following and when you're ready to create a new website, send me a text.

  • What features (above) do you want? Depending on your business, some are needed and others are not.
  • What information do you want on the site? This can range from basic company information, your products/services to detailed reports, articles.
  • Do you already have your logo and brand colors established? It's important that your website reflects your brand. If you want to refresh your brand, I provide a logo refresh service. If you want to start from scratch, we can do that too!
  • Does the website information need to be continuously updated? Many small business websites do not need to update content on a daily or even weekly basis. Many would like to display information that is constantly changing for one reason or another, but just don't have the resources for regular website updates. We can determine the best course for your budget. For example, social media and live feeds embedded on your site is an efficient way to display information that is constantly changing.
  • What is your budget? See Pricing Information and get a sense of what you can afford. While we have our initial discussion, we can see what features are must-haves vs. nice to have.

* Domain Name Price: In my experience, all domains I've registered have been around $18 dollars. However, there are domains that have not been registered yet but cost significantly more to aquire based on the registrars assessment of its value. Also, if a domain is already registered, it may still be available. If so, it will most likely cost more if another party is holding the domain to sell at a higher price. Negotiations may take place. Otherwise, we can opt for another choice. You will be informed if either of these is the case.

Delivery and Scheduling

This is an at-your-pace service. I guarantee a 2-week turnaround for most small business websites. This all depends on how soon I receive sign-off on mock ups, content needed for pages, payments for up front costs. If no hosting is set up through me, all site files are delivered on a thumb drive for you to upload to your server.

WEBSITE 101

Essentially, it takes four things to get a site on the internet.
  1. A Domain Name (or web/IP address) - the somthing.something or ##.###.##.##
  2. Site Files - the content and set of instructions that determine what displays on the window and what happens when visitors interact with the site
  3. Site Hosting - where those site files are stored
  4. Configuration - all these need to be configured so they work
